Daniella P. Chacoa

Daniella P. Chacoa is the founding and managing attorney of Chacoa Law, where she leads a client-focused legal team representing policyholders and injured individuals in first-party property insurance claims, personal injury matters, and complex litigation. For nearly a decade, she has concentrated her practice in insurance law, combining strategic litigation experience with a deep understanding of the real-world challenges her clients face.
Ms. Chacoa has handled all phases of litigation in Florida’s state and federal courts, including more than 175 mediations in the past three years alone. Her leadership reflects a strong commitment to achieving full and fair outcomes for clients impacted by negligence, bad faith, or underpaid and denied insurance claims.
Ms. Chacoa previously represented Florida’s insurance carriers in a broad range of complex coverage disputes, including first-party commercial and personal lines property claims, bad faith actions, and third-party auto liability cases. Most recently, she served as a partner at a civil litigation firm in West Palm Beach. Her dual perspective—having litigated extensively on both sides of insurance disputes—enhances her ability to prepare cases thoroughly and negotiate from a position of strength.
Born in Caracas, Venezuela and raised in South Florida, Ms. Chacoa earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Florida Levin College of Law. During law school, she was a member of the nationally ranked Trial Team, served as President of the International Law Society, and was a faculty teaching assistant in Trial Practice. She also completed a Certificate in New Venture Creation from the UF Hough Graduate School of Business. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Criminology, cum laude, from The Florida State University and was awarded the Honors Medallion.
As managing attorney, Ms. Chacoa oversees the firm’s litigation strategy, team development, and case management—ensuring each client receives responsive, personalized, and results-oriented representation.

Ms. Chacoa has served as a Teen Court Advisor, Guardian ad Litem, and volunteer attorney with the Legal Aid Society of the Orange County Bar Association. Her commitment to pro bono service has been recognized by the Supreme Court of Florida, the Young Lawyers Division of The Florida Bar, and the Florida Pro Bono Coordinators Association.
